Who can resist the cute erasers from Iwako in Japan. From food to animals, office supplies to vehicles, and everything in-between, there is surely something for the person on your list. While many sites offer Japanese erasers and you can even buy them in stores you want to be careful where you buy them. The erasers have become so popular they have inspired knock off erasers whose quality is lacking. Iwakousa.com offers links to web sites that sell their product and also list several retailers who carry their product.
Japanese erasers usually only cost one dollar they are very affordable and can easily become a collection. Also these are puzzle erasers so you can mix and match colors. Listed below are a few sites that sell Japanese erasers.

Fourty-five and a half feet of ink
How many times have you found yourself in the middle of signing your name, writing a memo or list and your pen runs out of ink? If the answer is to many times then today's stocking stuffer is for you. Introducing the seven year pen.
It has an extra large cartridge that allows you to write six and a half feet of text a day for seven years. This pen would be perfect for an aspiring author, musician, or anyone really. Bas Bleu offers the pen for $8.95 another site to offer the pen, with a few different designs, is Gent Supply Co. for $7. With the shipping and handling the pens are about the same price at each store. So while it's probably not worth about fifteen dollars for one pen, can't forget shipping and handling, if you were to buy more then one it's really a worthwhile investment.

Let's get this party started
So you're probably expecting my first post to be about Valentines day. After all it is next week. However, because it is coming up so soon you're not likely to get anything in time for V-day if that's what you're ordering it for. So instead I'm going to start with a Christmas themed item. Now before you go crazy and walk off in a huff hear me out. This is the perfect time to get clearance Christmas items. Stores are trying to clear out their inventory which means you can get some really cute things for really low prices. For example Perpetual Kid has several Christmas items on sale such as Santa and Snowman Salt and Pepper Shakers and Christmas themed Clothespins.
Don't forget to check the clearance departments in your local stores also. The JCPenney store near me has just marked down many of the ornaments and leftover stocking items to 25¢. That's such a deal you can afford to load up not only for you family but also friends and neighbors. Of course inventory will vary store to store.
The bottom line is, just because Christmas is over doesn't mean you can't start shop for next year. Check out your favorite stores clearance and sale racks you never know what you may find.

Never to early
A blog about stocking stuffers in February? I know what you're thinking, "Isn't a little early to be thinking about Christmas?" But here's the thing items that you put in a stocking aren't just Christmas things and they can be given year round. So getting started early means you'll have a more diverse stocking and you won't be rushing around to finish a few days before Christmas. Also, who says we can't do stockings for other holidays? We do baskets for Easter right? Except for the container it's basically the same idea. So come take a year round journey with me on the search for the perfect stocking stuffer for any holiday and person.
